Monday, December 8, 2008. Final Thoughts on His Dark Materials. I really really liked the Dark Materials trilogy. It was such an easy light read that I found myself reading for hours and not even noticing. I would sit down expecting to read for only about an hour but when I finally looked at the clock almost 3 hours had passed. Found this poem on Wiki. Into this wilde Abyss,.
