The protagonist is Little Bee (Udo, it means peace) which struggles with the gruesome past of her family as she runs away from it all, trying to find herself and how she belongs to this world. In the end, she’d be caught by a sliver of ignorance but she is as strong as an ox to continue living. January 16, 2014. To belong is to be happy.
