Life Skills in High School: Classroom Tour
http://lifeskillsinhighschool.blogspot.com/2013/04/here-is-tour-of-my-class.html
Life Skills in High School. Sunday, April 14, 2013. Here is a tour of my class. So far this seems to work. I started in the beginning of the year with a horse shoe shape for the desk. Then it morphed to 3 smaller horse shoes. That way I can still address the whole class, but my 3 aides are able to work with their assigned small groups easily. All of my students have a job. They apply for a new job every quarter. I got this from Teacher on a Mission. From Teacher's Pay Teachers. April 14, 2013 at 9:55 PM.

Life Skills in High School: April 2013
http://lifeskillsinhighschool.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
Life Skills in High School. Tuesday, April 30, 2013. I don't know about other states but here in California there is a Autism Certificate we can obtain. (I've heard it will be required soon). I unfortunately have not had that training. My only experience with students with behavior issues who are diagnosed with autism is from my less than 2 years of teaching. Eventually I helped her on the bus and she went home. If you have any advice. I am working for: My Daily Point Goal:. Crayons…) 1 Point. Here are o...

Life Skills in High School. Tuesday, January 28, 2014. Finally a new post! Things have been so nuts here in school. I've been meaning to put a new blog for months. Hopefully I can start doing it more regularly. To where she talks about her lesson planer. It didn't exactly work for what I needed but I just modified it to my needs. First instead of a spiral notebook I used a binder I had lying around. Well that's it for now. I'm really excited about this lesson planner. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Here is ...

Life Skills in High School
http://lifeskillsinhighschool.blogspot.com/2014/02/hi-everyone-i-need-some-suggestions.html
Life Skills in High School. Monday, February 24, 2014. I need some suggestions. I teach a work skills class during my 5th period. Its with 11th and 12th graders in my MDD program. The idea is to teach them life and work skills they could use in the real world once they complete their education. My idea that I would like to implement here is a way apply the skills and learn new skills by helping the other teachers here in the high school. This is what I have so far:. We do go on fieldtrip during 5. If any...

Life Skills in High School: September 2013
http://lifeskillsinhighschool.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html
Life Skills in High School. Wednesday, September 4, 2013. I saw this on one of the blogs I read. Now sure which but I LOVE IT! I am getting 4 computers! So I have 2 tables waiting for them. Not sure when they are going to come along but still exciting. I have 4 crates to put student binders. Each student has a binder specifically for their needs and their goals. There is a folder in each binder where students put their unfinished work. I am super excited to see how this year goes. Refined by turn in bins.
