Saturday, 26 July 2014. The first time we played Skye we had a narrow victory. We started the game well and mid way through Xavier had a trademark run with the ball that the keeper was just able to save, but Damiano was there to pounce on the loose ball. The goal did the team no good though, the intensity dropped and it looked more like a tea party for the rest of the first half! The score ended up 3-2 for Skye. U8 Sandringham Storm SC. The score ended up 5-2. Scorers: Liam, James, Charlie, Flynn and Josh.

Saturday, 28 June 2014. U8 Bentleigh East Stingers. Another Saturday and another game! Congratulations to Martin on his "Most Valuable Player" award for last weeks game for giving it his all and his first goal this season. I hope everybody has a good break with no game next week. The score ended up 2-3 to East Bentleigh Stingers. Saturday, 21 June 2014. Today the coach was not just the coach, he was Tony Robbins. The score ended up 5-2 to Aspendale Stingrays. Saturday, 31 May 2014. Lucas got his player of the week award for his excellent second and third efforts against Skye. On Wednesday we'll practise on passing out the ball from defence along the line and running into space, so the ball can be played to a free player. The score ended up 7-0 to Baxter. Saturday, 30 May 2015. U9 - Berwich City Bears. Besides for a closed road we arrived to face the bears. The first-half got off to a shaky start playing against the sun and soon we were 2 goals down. The coaches started to plot and after. We started to score but sadly so did they albeit soft in nature. The. Is paying off as the boys are passing and creating. The parents were well behaved as we welcomed Harry's Nan who came to watch him score and keep goal. I'm looking. The score ended up 6-3 to Berwich.

Saturday, 13 June 2015. U9 - East Bentleigh. Today was nerve-racking as just a month ago we walked all over this team. Things started off well with a quick goal and I remember saying we'll be scoring heavily here. Was I wrong! Congratulations to Martin on his "Most Valuable Player" award for playing being a rock in defence. We need to work on scoring at close range at training this week, the long kicks we practised last week at training went really well today. The score ended up 3-1 to Aspendale.

Saturday, 29 August 2015. U9 - Stingray's Blue. The final game of the year and sadly we drew, we had so many opportunities but could not convert them. Not practising on Wednesday was felt today as we lacked the tactical advantage we would normally have. Next week is the awards ceremony and the final certificate. Saturday, 11 July 2015. U9 - Sandringham Wolves. What a well balanced game, a cracker! So nice to see a full squad with Alex back. Our goalkeepers were great only letting in certain goals. The boys had fun and played hard. It's great to see the variety of players scoring with the coaches mixing up the play. Saturday, 25 July 2015. U9 - Berwich City Bears. Congratulations to Alexander Logan for last weeks outstanding performance - Gold Star Award. Training will be back at 6pm on Wednesday night, also as there is a bye next week I am proposing that we train instead probably from 11-12ish at either Browns or McCully Oval which is next to Browns on the bike track behind the scout hall it depends if there are many games on at Browns , McCully will probably be better. The score ended up 3-1 to the Aspendale.
