My goal is to show what God is doing in this little corner of Wisconsin. Tuesday, April 27, 2010. Awesome God or Aw.Some God! Just read a great post by Jason over at "Beneath the Crust" on the "smallness" of God in our thinking. Go read it and tell me what you think. Where We Live: December 2010

My goal is to show what God is doing in this little corner of Wisconsin. Wednesday, December 22, 2010. Jesus don't need no stinkin' 3D! Another example of America's consumer church mentality. How sad when we dumb down the eternal sacrifice of our Almighty God. I'd call it blasphemy. Read this post by Bill Kinnon, and let me know what you think of this idiocy. Where We Live: June 2009
http://where-we-live.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
My goal is to show what God is doing in this little corner of Wisconsin. Monday, June 22, 2009. Internet Monk has a really great post up on his blog today about the dangers of labeling people. This post should be required reading, not only for those who tag people with socieo-political stereotypes, but for anyone who sees people through a theological lens. Calvinists, Baptists, RC’s do not all think as a bloc. Neither do all homeschoolers or creationists/evolutionists. Links to this post. I wish I could ...

My goal is to show what God is doing in this little corner of Wisconsin. Tuesday, March 23, 2010. Pray for A Fellow Blogger. For several years, I've been reading Michael Spencer's Internet Monk blog.probably one of the best-known Christian bloggers. IMonk spoke to and for many of us who questioned the direction in which evangelicalism is heading. He dared to actually dialog with those who might not agree with him and invited us to join the conversation. Links to this post. Monday, March 08, 2010. Recentl...

Where We Live: December 2007
http://where-we-live.blogspot.com/2007_12_01_archive.html
My goal is to show what God is doing in this little corner of Wisconsin. Wednesday, December 26, 2007. Folks from the community and friends from previous church families often come. This year there were about 70 in all, including a friend who brought his violin and volunteered to accompany the piano player as we sang the traditional carols. And when it was over, a couple dozen of us who had no other obligations came into the house and fellowshipped together (with the usual cookies and goodies).

Life in the Journey: Would you trade your life for someone else's life?
http://lifeinthejourney.blogspot.com/2007/08/would-you-trade-your-life-for-someone.html
Monday, August 13, 2007. Would you trade your life for someone else's life? For those who have not heard, on Sunday, August 12, 2007, a gunman entered a church building, killed three people, wounded five others, and held several hostage until he finally surrendered to police. This is one account. Of what happened during the incident:. Now, this is a witness' report to police. Is this the way it happened? But, what about you? Would you be willing to give your life in exchange for someone else's life?

Where We Live: Michael Spencer aka Internet Monk With the Lord
http://where-we-live.blogspot.com/2010/04/michael-spencer-aka-internet-monk-with.html
My goal is to show what God is doing in this little corner of Wisconsin. Monday, April 05, 2010. Michael Spencer aka Internet Monk With the Lord. Now that voice has been silenced. After suffering from cancer’s “thorn in the flesh” for only a few months, Michael Spencer is in the very presence of Jesus tonight. The shaping of his life here on earth is finished. I encourage you to visit the Internet Monk blog and read the wealth of archived blogs there. You will be challenged and blessed.
