Burket Thoene Family Mission: Neonatal Resuscitation
http://burketthoenefamilymission.blogspot.com/2015/07/neonatal-resuscitation.html
Monday, July 27, 2015. We have begun classes in neonatal resuscitation. We are doing this in the hospital and at some of our outreach clinics. The materials, to start these classes, have come from a number of special supporters. The staff is really enjoying the classes. The addition of the mannequin has really helped in our scenario resuscitations. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Donate to our Mission. Send us a prayer. No Hands but Yours: Father's Day
http://nohandsbutyours.blogspot.com/2015/06/fathers-day.html
Friday, June 19, 2015. Love Dedication. Hardworking. (A bit goofy). Poet. These are the words I think of when I think of my own father. He was hard working grocery store manager, a dedicated husband, and veteran of WWII - a bit of a show off - with the heart of a poet. Dr Brian Medernach, a mission doctor serving in Peru, and a father to young Charlie, wrote a beautiful blog post for Father’s day. That I want to share. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Thursday, May 7, 2015. Recently we had two Belgian medical students, Xander and Peter, here for three months. We really enjoy having medical students learn and work at the hospital. They help us with patient care, we enjoy teaching, and they end up having an unforgettable, life changing experience. Right is Peter,. Https:/ www.facebook.com/alfred.mcawa. May 16, 2015 at 12:31 AM. Burket Thoene Family Mission: March 2015
http://burketthoenefamilymission.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Tuesday, March 24, 2015. Recently, a very special Dutch friend of St. Martin De Porres, Peter van Leerdam, provided solar lighting for Achain. This provides a much more reliable, safe power source. Wednesday, March 18, 2015. The hospital continues to be very busy. They also helped with our outreach clinics, continuing medical education talks (here and at the neighboring Baptist Hospital at Mbingo), and with screening exams at the children’s HIV clinic, the vaccine clinic, and at the orphanage.

Burket Thoene Family Mission: June 2014
http://burketthoenefamilymission.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
Monday, June 16, 2014. Reflecting on Father’s day invariably brings memories of my own father. He is always there to be a support when needed, provide advice when asked and lives each day as a model of a man I am striving to be. In our house when I was growing up, I remember a small plaque, hung on wall, not in a very prominent place but a very prominent place in my mind’s eye with the saying:. 8220;The best thing a father can do for his children is to love their mother.”.
