A Stitch in Time: January 2013
http://www.astitchintime-lalena.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
A Stitch in Time. Tuesday, January 1, 2013. January 1, 2013:. Here is hoping that 2013 goes a little smoother than 2012! It is the first day of the new year and I have a finish and new start. My finish is 6 Fat Men by Lizzie Kate. I really enjoyed this pattern. I had hoped to finish it by Christmas or at least by the end of 2012, but life intervened. Lots of color and fun in this one, it's a happy design. It's not much to look at yet - but the pattern is amazing I can't wait to see it develop. The Awaken...

A Stitch in Time. Sunday, March 3, 2013. I have been hard at work on Roses of Provence. I'm still on the dress it is a lot of color changes, but I'm loving her she is going to be very pretty when she is finished. The second project I finished today was the first in the sheep virtues series by Little House Needleworks - Hope. I'm really excited about this series there will be a different piece each month. That's all for now - back to working on Roses of Provence. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Very S...

A Stitch in Time. Sunday, May 27, 2012. May 27, 2012:. I didn't feel like going back to The Madonna of the Garden just yet so I decided to start The Easter Fairy, also by Nora Corbett. She will be the 5th in the Holiday Fairies series. Once I have finished her I will only have The New Year's Fairy left to stitch. I don't have The New Year's Fairy yet I will have to find her soon. This is my progress so far - not bad for less than one day of stitching. She should be done fairly quickly:. These picture are...
A Stitch in Time: July 2012

A Stitch in Time. Sunday, July 29, 2012. July 29, 2012:. It's been a busy stitching week. I've been in Memphis for Rock-n-Roll Memphis with Susan Greening Davis. We have been working on a perpetual calendar - it's an beautiful project and when finished it will be placed on a wonderful frame. It will either go on my fireplace mantel or I might take it to my classroom I think my students would enjoy it. The project includes a bundle of beautiful limited edition colors from The Gentle Art. July 20, 2012:.
A Stitch in Time: April 2012
http://www.astitchintime-lalena.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
A Stitch in Time. Saturday, April 28, 2012. April 28, 2012:. My beads arrived yesterday and I was able to finish Elizabeth. My youngest son Christopher (5) helped. I was amazed that he was able to get the petite beads on the needle but he did a great job. I can't wait to get her framed! Along with my beads I received two new Mirabilia patterns: Stargazer, and The Feather Fairy. They are going to go into my rotation as soon as I decide which fabric will work the best for each. Wednesday, April 25, 2012.

I just wrote a thought provoking paragraph about why I haven’t updated in 7 months and you crash! Tl;dr anyways… Having two bairns is tough and so is a broken foot. Here’s my stuff. Also, forgive all the watermarks, I don’t want any trolls stealing my shit. Wow, this is getting long! Now on to some Mirabilias. First up is Stargazer. I put her down fo...Next ...

A Stitch in Time
A Stitch in Time. Somewhere to share some of my hobbies. I like to quilt and also do machine embroidery of various kinds. Saturday, January 7, 2017. Friday night with friends. I did more work on this Christmas tree wall hanging. It is a pattern called A little bit shorter tall tree by Cindi Edgerton. It is done by foundation piecing and I found it really addictive to do. Thursday, January 5, 2017. Friday night with friends. Wednesday, November 25, 2015. A finish for my owl. Happy day to you all. Tuesday,...

A Stitch in Time. My Life In Words and Pictures. Tuesday, February 23, 2016. I've been around the blogs and back where it began. It's free. It's easy. It doesn't demand a whole lot from me. I can deal with that. I also blog at: Weight for Deb. Links to this post. Friday, October 29, 2010. A Year (or more) of Socks. November 1st, I start a project that will likely last me over a year: every month I will knit a pair of socks using some yarn that does not contain any wool. Both by Melissa Morgan-Oakes.
