Out for a walk. Tim's journey on the Appalachian Trail. Saturday, August 20, 2011. About to enter the wilderness! Since the last update the weather has been amazing! I was finally able to go for a swim in Pleasant Pond and I found some of the most amazing blueberries on top of Moxie Bald! Yesterday afternoon Tin Man finally caught up with me. He has been a couple days behind me for a while and finally started doing some bigger days to catch up. It was really nice to see him again after not seeing...Getti...

Out for a walk. Tim's journey on the Appalachian Trail. Sunday, August 14, 2011. 2000 down, less than 200 to go. Seems like just yesterday I was in Gatlinburg saying the opposite. I. Crossed the 2000 mile mark on the 5 month anniversary of starting the. Trail I am told that as the crow flies I am around 85 miles from. Katahdin but that is 180 trail miles. If the air was clearer I would. Be able to see it from here! I expect to reach Katahdin within two. Change. The views are amazing. I love Maine!

Two Kings Abide The Trail: Fontana Dam to Clingman's Dome
http://twokingsabidethetrail.blogspot.com/2013/05/fontana-dam-to-clingman-dome.html
Two Kings Abide The Trail. Wednesday, May 22, 2013. Fontana Dam to Clingmans Dome. We got a man down dude. Updates. Travis has a muscle that tore off his bone. He is down and out. Called the medics. If he isn't healed in six weeks, he may have to get surgery. I can honestly say I have experienced a sense of deep sadness and depression about the lose of the other king. Life throws curves and ya just have to keep rolling, rolling, rolling. Keep the Two Kings in your hopes and dreams. Highlight of my day.
