http://literatelives.blogspot.com/2015/06/new-series-show-promise.html
Good books and how to use 'em with kids. Tuesday, June 30, 2015. New Series Show Promise. Over the years I've updated the series by weeding those that didn't get used and adding new titles like the Ball Park Mysteries, Calvin Coconut and Roscoe Riley just to name a few. I'm always on the lookout for something new to appeal to a larger audience and recently I have found three that I think will do nicely. Teddy Mars: Almost a World Record Breaker. By Molly B. Burnham. Ill by Trevor Spencer. Ill by Meg Park.

Good books and how to use 'em with kids. Sunday, September 20, 2009. How NOT to Treat a Library Book. In my first year I decided to add my own twist to the lesson by donning faux scientific protective gear, goggles, plastic apron, rubber gloves, and demonstrating what NOT to do to our library books when they go home.
