Thermopolium Pictures: Drawing Hands
http://thermopoliumpictures.blogspot.com/2015/03/drawing-hands.html
Thursday, March 12, 2015. A while back a colleague of mine asked me for a copy of some notes I did a few years back. I didn't have one handy, and I told him I'd get him a copy. After a few months of forgetting I figured it was time to make good on my promise. After sorting through a pile of old binders I finally found the originals. I'm posting them here for future reference. Most of the information is from a few of anatomy books which I have. The first one is " Anatomy for the Artist. Links to this post:.

Thermopolium Pictures: Fatigue of the Soul
http://thermopoliumpictures.blogspot.com/2017/02/fatigue-of-soul.html
Sunday, February 05, 2017. Fatigue of the Soul. Think happy thoughts. Think happy thoughts. Think. Happy. Thoughts. It's the new mantra instead of thinking about work. The production is a hybrid 2D/3D project and the amazing people who I am privileged to work every day with are fine tuning the pipeline of this new process, and even though this has not been an entirely enjoyable production the results are looking pretty good. Yay team! A small bit of randomness. Girls are always nice to draw.

Thermopolium Pictures: In Transition
http://thermopoliumpictures.blogspot.com/2015/04/in-transition.html
Monday, April 20, 2015. Animated television productions are always a grind, especially when you have pre-production, production and post production happening all at the same. It's not a complaint. Really! So much happens and so much has to be done to keep good productions on the rails, but it is fun to do. For just over two years I have been the Assistant Director on the 3D animated series " Trucktown. I'm cleaning out a few last drawings before I see what else comes up in the next few months. Enjoy.

Monday, February 02, 2015. I'm posting these more for me to get quick access to the images when my big sketchbook isn't handy. I guess you can have a peek, too. Enjoy. I had a bit of fun trying to come up with a Kid (K), and these were the three which had the most potential. Then another project came up and I did a few sketches for that. Friday, January 01, 2016. Last Post,First Post. My current project, of which I can say little of at this point in time, is a big creative and technically challenging production, but I am having a lot of fun. The clients are awesome and the production team is coming together really nicely. The next three years on this production will be a mammoth workload, but I expect I will have a "What the heck happened to the three years? Kind of wonder at the end of it. I am looking forward to it. Which was supposed ...
