We opened up the pool and by the end of the day Riley was swimming up a storm. She had to take a break to enjoy the sun too though. We spent the afternoon in Balito, looking forward to the arrival of the Londoners. Riley spent a lot of time in the pool there too, and is most definately swimming much better as a result.

The kids were very excited - they kept wishing Grannie "happy birthday". Riley decided that a candle was required, so since we did not have any desert/cake (it is a school night), Riley suggested that a candle in the chicken would be a good idea. Clearly the chicken was not a good idea so we used a roast potatoe.
