The only thing that I have yet to discuss, and I will only gloss over briefly, is my visit to the ophthalmologist. Coincidentally (or not.), he was now sharing his space with an acupuncturist. Oh, did I mention that I am deathly afraid of needles? High glycemic fruits (citrus, melons, pineapple, etc.), as well as dairy. OUCH! Also, thanks for reading! February 6, 2011 at 2:31 PM. After that, he advised that I see an ophthalmologist, one that specializes (that damn word again.) in thyroid disease. He told me he would research an appropriate doctor, and refer me. On August 17, 1963 Ross and Catherine Ambrose, hosted at their home in Maine, the first (and only) Ambrose Family Union with all the children from John and Grace Ambrose. I was able to compile most of the pictures from a photo album belonging to Ross that was passed on from family member to family member after his death until it reached my Dad who graciously loaned it to me.
