Adventures on the Appalachian Trail. Sunday, June 9, 2013. Finishing up the Connecticut leg of the Appalachian Trail. On November 3rd (2012), Wes and I finished up the Connecticut leg of the Appalachian Trail with a Saturday day hike. That's right, no overnight, so just some simple day packs. A much easier way to travel. We parked one car at the lot that is North of Salisbury on Route 41 and then drove another few miles to another parking lot the meets up with the Undermountain Trail and off we went.
