The Stansell Dozen: October 2012
http://stanselldozen.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
Wednesday, October 31, 2012. After this year I have decided that Halloween is the most exhausting day for me.I think it's because too many things are packed into one day. With that being said, the kids and I had a good day. First, I need to give credit where credit is due. While I am the one that made the costumes, I'm not the one that came up with the idea. Ang did! And that is the rest of the story :-). Carol, from church, was handing out candy from her store. The kids were happy to see her. They won 1s...

The Whittle Berry Schoolhouse: February 2014
http://thewhittleberryschoolhouse.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
Tuesday, February 4, 2014. In The Spotlight: Abigail. Our beautiful Abigail is so precious and unique that designing this blogpost about her educational milestones has been challenging for me! It is hard to place in a nutshell what is so mysterious and wonderful and that makes me feel inadequate to describe her achievements. I wish I had journaled at least about some challenges and accomplishments, but don't we all? I am so proud that my daughter is mine! Have been an in. However, I had no idea that ther...

The Stansell Dozen: December 2011
http://stanselldozen.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Saturday, December 31, 2011. Did Santa Stop at Our House This Year? I wish I could say Goose and I were strong and we made the kids wait to open their big gifts from us until Christmas morning, but that just wasn't the case. That's right we caved. They opened them when we got home from looking at Christmas lights. The bad part is, the kids weren't even begging to open a gift.we wanted them to open their gifts. Ten went next.so sweet to pose for the camera. Miles waited very patiently for his turn. Miles t...

http://stansellfamily4andcounting.blogspot.com/2015/03/cookie-decorating.html
Stansell Family.6 and counting. Monday, January 19, 2015. I can't believe I forgot to post about the "Cookie Decorating" party Our kids had before Christmas! Ok, first I should say the Aunt Gwen is the BEST! This is her second year to have as many of her grand kids, great nieces, and great nephews get together and decorate cookies. My kids loved it last year and looked forward to it this year. Everyone had so much fun. She had her "station" organized and ready for some serious decorating. Syd and Madison...

The Whittle Berry Schoolhouse: Curriculum
http://thewhittleberryschoolhouse.blogspot.com/p/curriculum.html
Favorite Curriculum Choices 2013-2014. I am currently using this for kindergarten through level 2 or 3. This one is only available for grades 3 and up. I love it because it takes some pressure off of me and allows someone to teach my child who actually loves math! This is what we are using for "Family School" time. We are using step one in the multi-age family learning cycle, "Exploring Countries and Cultures.". Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Where We Are Now. Huge Homeschool Curriculum Sale.

http://hughes05.blogspot.com/2011/09/first-field-trip-apple-orchard.html
Friday, September 30, 2011. First Field Trip: APPLE ORCHARD. Here are pictures from the day:. He was patiently waiting for me to come see his creation. It tasted really good too! Mathen and Penelope carrying their tarts to the playground for the picnic before the field trip. Little playtime after lunch. The weather was so nice. Boys and sticks.he was excited that he could use it to write in the dirt. Killing some time while the other parents unloaded their kids. Two at a time seemed to be the theme.

Hughes Family Blessings: October 2011
http://hughes05.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Friday, October 28, 2011. Pumpkin Patch=Fantastic Family Time. The weather was amazing and Rick was had a day off so we all headed to Pooley's Pumpkin Patch. It was a little 15 minute drive and the cost was great for our budget. Plus, we didn't need a ton of attractions to grab our attention, we just wanted to pick out some cute pumpkins and enjoy some family time. Mathen was bored waiting to get in so I asked him to "cheese" for the camera to make time go by faster. The first stop was the chicken coop.
