Monday, March 12, 2012. March 9, 2012. I flew to Sacramento on the 8th for Mom's birthday. It was beautiful there! Sunny and fairly warm. We sat outside at one point and there was a dove sitting above us talking to my dad. Dad would make a dove call, and this fella would answer. Wednesday, March 14, 2012. March 14, 2012. Anyway. I spent the morning downtown at the courthouse. A very dear friend of mine was fighting a "protective order" that had been placed against her by her ex-husband to keep her away from her girls. He had made several false accusations against her and she was desperately fighting to get her sweet girls back. There were about 20 of us there to support her. I hope this will be the end of the nonsense, but knowing her ex-husband I doubt it will be. March 15, 2012.

Tuesday, March 6, 2012. March 6, 2012. I'm hoping this and the sounds of all of the birds chirping means we will be having a lovely day, in spite of the fact that rain and snow have been forecasted. (Personally, I have found some of these forecasters can't look out of the window and accurately tell us what is happening.). It was in the 60's! I walked around downtown without a coat, and that made me quite happy. The tulips at Temple Square were starting to sprout. Is Spring in the process of springing?

Sunday, March 4, 2012. March 4, 2012. My car didn't want to start today. Which, let's face it, I wouldn't have wanted to either given that it was in the low 30's outside this morning. But, it was stubborn and wouldn't work with me. So, I got to walk to church this morning. I did find out, though, that my new cute coat is very warm. Luckily, my home teacher came over after church and determined it was a dead battery. He jump started it for me and we left it running for about 20 minutes. The end of an era.
