Woodlawn parish church has it’s roots in the earlier parish of Kilconnel and also has close associations with the now closed church of Ballymacward, technically the parish is now a union of 5 ancient parishes, Kilconnel, Killaan, Foghena, Clonkeen, and Ballymacward, the union being formed in 1920. 1st Sunday Monthly Morning Prayer 10.am. 3rd Sunday MonthlyHoly Communion 10 am.

The Church was closed for a short few years but was reopened and has an active growing congregation with fortnightly services. Memorials adorn the church to remind us of the past congregation and it’s lifestyle. The largest tablet remembers Lieutenant General Sir John Taylor KCB of Castle Taylor who is buried in the Churchyard. 1st Sunday Holy communion 10 am.

Dec 20, 2017. It was a busy few weeks, but I’m finally done singing in 11 concerts in the month of December, all with the Mendelssohn Choir and the Pittsburgh Symphony. Two Haydn’s Creation, staged.
