A lot of people have asked me in the past 8 months how I feel about having another boy. I get told nearly every day, "Oh, you NEED a girl." or "Wow, another boy." or "Are you going to keep trying until you get your girl? Even, "Oh man, you must be so bummed.". Really. Be over the moon. I tell people that it's my third boy and joke, "Yep - I'm in trouble! Or "It's all we know how to make! But how I love my little boys. I mean, how lucky am I? Marvelous day. Marvelous day! I have been so taken care of, just marvelous. Cody has cooked all the meals and taken care of the boys, I even got a nap. Like a nice, looong nap. The kind where you wake up and you don't know what day it is. I came in the kitchen this morning to find 2 dozen orange roses from Cody. That man knows what he's doing. Monday, August 27, 2012. First Day of 1st Grade. It has been about two weeks since Jack's first day of school and he's been doing great! I was nervous with him being gone all day now and wondered if he'd come home exhausted or starving, but he walks in ready to play and quickly answers my questions about how his day was. We pack a lunch to bring from home since he's one picky kid, but he has decided he'd like to get hot lunch next time they serve pizza! The first day was rough on one brother for sure!

Teach us to love. Sunday, February 10, 2013. I attended a Tai Chi/Yoga combo class yesterday. And, like many yoga classes, there was a section designated for relaxation at the very end. Instead of guided visualization, she just had us focus on breathing in and out and relaxing our muscles for a couple of songs. Love, light, blah blah blah- those are so cliche, Amanda. This is ridiculous. Oh, shoot. Is it time to breathe out already? Um, quick I'm almost out of breath.negativity! I'll do better next round.
