My thrifty adventures with yarn, fabric, and thread. Newer posts →. A Belated Happy Easter to All! March 28, 2016. I just received a concerned e-mail from one of my readers, which made me realize that. Have slipped by since my last post. First off, I want you all to know that DH and I are both. It’s simply that blogging keeps getting pushed aside by other things. Guess it’s pretty obvious that volunteering at the nursing home has become Priority #1. For some reason going. A week seems to take at least.

Otterwise: Day 1: Weight Watchers Initiated
http://otterwise.blogspot.com/2015/02/day-1-weight-watchers-initiated.html
Sunday, February 15, 2015. Day 1: Weight Watchers Initiated. Now many of the pre-loaded points-generating activities are things like arm movements, small-scale leg movements, and even T'ai Chi (which is very adaptable to chair work) I feel more welcomed. So, this is the beginning! Glancing at my available points for each day, like the past my biggest challenge is going to be eating enough to make it over my points allowance. After a month or so as I lose weight, that will normalize :-}. Robin D. Owens.

Otterwise: Settling in
http://otterwise.blogspot.com/2015/02/settling-in.html
Thursday, February 12, 2015. We moved in three weeks ago tomorrow, and things are feeling more like home. Our new vacuum cleaner arrived, with all this carpet that was a relief! The air cleaner has taken care of the smoke smell, as far as I can tell, that, too is a relief. I have been sick, mostly flu-like symptoms but nothing too horrible. I sleep a lot, which is the best way to get over stuff. Otherwise, things are slowly being put into their places, and order is emerging from chaos. Robin D. Owens.

My thrifty adventures with yarn, fabric, and thread. Ripple #18 – A 70’s Flashback. Ripple #19 of 2015 – To Satisfy My Sweet Tooth →. May 11, 2015. It turns out that RHSS ‘Soft White’ is a. Close match to the white in Karen’s granny squares. Luckily, I had most of a skein in stash, more than enough to start on a simple border with one round each dc and hdc. By the time I’d finished those two rounds I knew that I wanted to do just one more hdc round, in RED. What an ideal finish. A Boldly Variegated Granny.

Otterwise: Going well
http://otterwise.blogspot.com/2015/02/going-well.html
Thursday, February 19, 2015. Weight watchers is going well. I am mostly focused on tracking my food, getting back into the habit of it. I have managed to eat my points each day, without too much 'too full' feeling. I don't have room for many veggies though, but I eat at least one large serving a day, regardless (I likes me veggies! The list is quite generous, and includes lots of proteins like shrimp, chicken, even lean beef and pork. You are also required to have two teaspoons of healthy oil those days.
