Die beiden hölzernen Figuren von Jan Thomas am Giebel des südlichen Torhauses an der Humboldtstraße ufern sowohl in ihrer Formulierung als auch ihrer räumlichen Positionierung aus. In einer leichten 10 Neigung zum Giebel wirken sie wie zum Absprung auf die vorbeieilenden Passanten bereit. Soll hier das Torhaus beschützt werden, wie man es von Wasserspeiern an alten Kirchen kennt, oder ist es ein Verweis darauf, dass die Kunst zum Freak in einer von Aktienmärkten beherrschten Welt geworden ist?
