finding joy in the journey: November 2009
http://themountfamily.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Friday, November 27, 2009. After much consideration ( and a not-so-subtle poll of my friends. I decided that Mikayla's earings were not quite even. SUCH. A bummer. So, today I took her back to the mall to have one ear re-done- But we couldn't go alone! Paige and Emily both came with us to help distract her (and eat ice cream, of course). Because the line was short, we stopped to say hello to Santa on our way out. Aren't they cute. Over all the giggling :). Posted by Holly Mount. Thursday, November 5, 2009.
finding joy in the journey: August 2010
http://themountfamily.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
Wednesday, August 25, 2010. I sat here in front of my computer contemplating a recap post- for about a second- before deciding to just pick up right where we are. So- this week began school for the girls! Mikayla and I had a girl's afternoon out to do some last minute shopping (because we still hadn't found the perfect backpack) and hanging out just the two of us. There was ice cream involved, too.(of. Some shoes and accessories- and we were set. Aubrey has been asking me. I'm the luckiest mom :).
finding joy in the journey: June 2009
http://themountfamily.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Tuesday, June 30, 2009. The things we do for our kids. Mikayla and Aubrey were a bit timid, but they got in there and got a little messy:. Aubrey decided that she did. Like it, after all. You can't really hear her, but she's crying "No like it! And I am backing up from her to keep her from putting her sticky little hands on me :). The best part is that afterwards, they turn on the sprinklers and everyone runs around and rinses off. Too funny. Posted by Holly Mount. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Natalie Roth, Ph.D. It can often be confusing to sort through the numerous intervention options for Autistic Spectrum Disorders. Autism Journeys: Why is Categorization Important?
http://autismjourneys-aj.blogspot.com/2013/01/why-is-categorization-important.html
Consulting and Treatment for all ages. Thursday, January 24, 2013. Why is Categorization Important? I did the math. I have 80% of my clients working on categorization at some level. Why? One of the ways people organize their world is through categorization. Beyond using categories, we must use the correct categories. Imagine going to the dining room section of a furniture store to buy milk, or going to buy a bike or a horse at the car dealership. After all, they are both things to ride on. Could you imag...
