Austin Gipsy
http://www.4wdonline.com/Austin/Gipsy.html
The Austin Gipsy was a rival to the Land-Rover. Most Gipsies were made as soft-tops. (The hard-top pictured is a conversion.) They came in both long (111) and short (90) wheel-base forms. Independent suspension leads to less ground clearance when heavily laden and had an image of lacking ruggedness - at that date. Later models of the Austin Gipsy had live axles in response. They also used the 2.9L A90 engine. My Austin Gipsy (left). Dead Jeep Gulch', England [4/'00]. Also see the Austin Champ.

The Great Motorcycle Pizza Tour: Riding to Interviews
http://pizzacrusade.blogspot.com/2006/04/riding-to-interviews.html
The Great Motorcycle Pizza Tour. Thursday, April 13, 2006. Riding to a job interview is possibly the best thing you can do to assure yourself that you're going to be happy with your new gig (until you get your own thing going and can stick it to the man). The people you meet are going to know right away. That you are the kind of person that takes risks, stays cool under pressure, and occasionally smells like gasoline. These are all good traits to have in the business world. Of course, if they don't.

1969 Land Rover Series Two A (SIIA)
http://www.4wdonline.com/LandRover/Series/S2A/1969.html
1969 Land Rover Series Two A (SIIA). This 1969 Land Rover series IIA has the radiator grille that consists of horizontal bars. The top bars in the leg of the inverted `T' are lighter and in pairs. The lower bars are single and of a heavier gauge. The headlights are still in the radiator grille or breakfast, moving to the wings around 1970 in response to new regulations in various markets. Despite rumours about the grille being used for BBQ's, note that zinc galvanising is in fact toxic. Go to the SIIA.
