Kevin Grubb was found dead in a Henrico County motel room, the victim of an apparent, self-inflicted gunshot wound to his head. He was 31. Police said there was no evidence of drugs in his room. Grubb made 176 starts in what was then called the Busch series, earning 10 top-fives and 32 top-10s. Pikes Peak International Raceway. Las Vegas Motor Speedway. New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
