I began making stained glass pictures in 2004. I use the copper foil method almost exclusively which allows a degree of detail (ie use of small pieces) not possible if using lead (the details in church windows, for example, are achieved by painting). Consequently, my pieces are not large, varying from a few centimetres square up to my largest project to date - two panels each 60 cm tall (see left). Things - animals and birds, for example - or geometrical patterns or just plain quirky!

Together we'll fly. Cirencester Primary School Tournament. November 19th, 2016. Green Men in the garden! November 16th, 2016. During Happiness week, all of the children were challenged to make a Green Man to hide in the garden. The Green Man is a mythical figure that is often found carved in stone or wood. Together we'll fly. January 6th, 2017. We were very excited to hear about Benny Bear’s adventures during the Christmas holidays. Adam took Benny to Gambia and Senegal, and while they were there Benny made friends with some Gambian children, and met some crocodiles, giraffes and rhinos. Together we'll fly. Stone Age to Iron Age Afternoon. November 9th, 2016. The Hawks enjoyed applying some of their learning from their topic in the school garden. Isaac’s Dad helped them begin to construct a roundhouse where everyone was learning to make it as strong as possible and tie knots. Ollie’s Mum helped them create some wattle and daub. Together we'll fly. Christmas in The Kestrels. December 16th, 2016. We have had a fabulous two weeks in The Kestrels getting ready for Christmas. We have put on a show – Lights, Camel, Action – It’s Strictly the Nativity! And what a show! We have made Christmas cards, calendars, and Christmas chocolate cakes, had a lovely Christmas Service in church and a party! Our trip to The Gruffalo’s wood. December 2nd, 2016.
