And where are you this evening? May 20th, 2009. Yes, I've been absent for a very much rather quite loooooong time. Life goes on. So about four weeks ago, my friend Eric came to visit and a fabulous time was had by all. We traveled by train at one point to a village called Annecy right next to Switzerland. It was gorgeous and really rainy but delicious and fun. And I have major news: I finally feel that my website is fleshed out enough to show you! Oh my god, I know! More later, I'm hungry and sleepy.

I saw the standard sight-seeing places, Arc de Triomphe, Eiffel Tower, Champs Elysees, etc. But I also explored a lot of the banlieu (suburbs, or alteratively, the ghetto) and the backstreets, so that experience was a lot less tourist-infested. :].
