We have been rather busy around here as we are moving 2 days after Camille's birthday to a new home in our same area. We are excited for the move and feel so blessed to have found a home we love! Comment with any kind acts you perform so we can send them up in our balloons on Sunday. :0). April 12, 2015 at 10:42 PM. June 8, 2008.

A Daily Scoop: A Personal Post
http://adailyscoop.blogspot.com/2008/07/personal-post.html
Thursday, July 24, 2008. I would like to take my heart out and put it on this page. I want to see the pain in the words on my screen. I want it diffused into a trillion little bytes floating out in the great expanse of space. I need to let this emotion run out my fingertips. It is too much in me. 160;I imagine it would be comparable to amputating a limb without any drugs and the phantom pains that follow. . We are swimming at my sisters. I am cold in my wet suit when I get out of the pool. I lay on ...

A Daily Scoop: Pray for Camille
http://adailyscoop.blogspot.com/2008/06/pray-for-camille.html
Saturday, June 14, 2008. As some of you have already heard, late yesterday afternoon Camille was involved in a tragic accident. She fell into the hot tub at the house and drowned. When found she was unconscious and not breathing. She is currently in an extremely critical condition and in a comatose state at St. Rose Sienna Hospital. We are finding comfort through these passages on prayer: Mormon 9 and Joshua 1. Nathan, Katie, Michael and Sara. June 14, 2008 at 9:42 AM. June 14, 2008 at 10:49 AM. We are S...

A Daily Scoop: Lesson on Individual Worth
http://adailyscoop.blogspot.com/2008/11/lesson-on-individual-worth.html
Sunday, November 2, 2008. Lesson on Individual Worth. I taught a lesson to the Young Women today on Individual Worth. I spent the whole morning trying not to break down because I knew I would be talking about Camille in my lesson. I had spent lots of time thinking about this lesson. The manual gave good topics to teach but the stories cited to teach them were . well they were not as poignant as some others from my own life. . Then I asked the girls if I felt that way because my dad had a well known job, ...

A Daily Scoop: Staying Power
http://adailyscoop.blogspot.com/2014/09/staying-power.html
Sunday, September 21, 2014. Once in a while you have an experience that sears into your soul. Perhaps it is a major life event that fundamentally changes you. Or it could be as simple as a powerful answer to prayer or an experience where you learn something important from or just strongly feel the Spirit. I have had experiences both great and small that have profoundly and deeply touched my very soul. What do you do to keep those fires burning once you have had a spiritual fireball sear your soul? Here i...

Thursday, September 11, 2014. Also, Harrison kept his pants dry and clean today all day without me even having to tell him to go to the potty once. Wahoo! Today I also went shopping with my buddy Harrison, make 7 loaves of whole wheat bread and a batch of yummy sour cream rolls plus salmon, salad, mashed potatoes, gravy and strawberry, blueberry and banana (red white and blue for 9/11) salad for dinner with the missionaries and a recent convert/friend in our ward. A Daily Scoop: Makes Me Sad and Makes Me Happy
http://adailyscoop.blogspot.com/2014/06/makes-me-sad-and-makes-me-happy.html
Friday, June 6, 2014. Makes Me Sad and Makes Me Happy. Today I went to Annie's "moving on" ceremony. She is officially done with elementary school. She got dressed all cute for the ceremony today. I sat wrestling with the boys for an hour while they recognized kids for various achievements and reflected on their time at the elementary school. I told her she probably was because the sun gives you freckles and she has been spending time in the sun. Then she said, "I love. What a beautiful daughter you have!

http://adailyscoop.blogspot.com/2014/04/camilles-7th-birthday-easter-2014.html
Monday, April 21, 2014. Camille's 7th Birthday / Easter 2014. This weekend has been one worth writing about. The kids had Thursday and Friday off school and Jonathan had Friday off work. So Friday we went to Six Flags to celebrate Camille's 7th birthday. We always do a big family fun thing like this for 7th birthdays. The weather was perfect and the park was empty so we had a great time. After lunch we took the balloons out front and let them fly. It was great. I was set to teach a lesson on the Atonemen...
