Wednesday, 7 November 2012. Last Tuesday I got a phone call at around 3pm from a place I had a job interview at recently. They offered me a job on a 3 month probationary period and asked me to start the following day at 6.45am. So since last Tuesday, my life has kind of revolved around this new job as I learn the ropes and feel obligated to take every shift they offer so that I look good and get hired after my 3 months probation are up. But for my own sanity I have been reminding myself why I am at work.

Sunday, 22 July 2012. A few days ago I noticed my stash of bananas were starting to get beyond the point of eating. So I decided to make some banana bread. I'd never made any before so I hti up google in search of a good recipe. I stumbled upon a blog (I cannot remember the name of it for the life of me! That had this recipe and a little side note saying the person who wrote the blog post had been nagging her friends mother for years for the recipe. If it's a mummy recipe, you know it's going to be good!
