A Woolly Yarn
Friday, 30 December 2016. Three Knitting Books To Look Forward To In 2017. At this time of the year TV and radio channels are awash with reviews of the year. Like a lot of people I'll be quite glad to see the back of 2016, what with Brexit, the election of Donald Trump and the tragic early death of George Michael on Christmas Day, so instead I've decided to look forward and concentrate on three exciting British pattern books to be published in 2017. 1 Susan Crawford's Vintage Shetland Project. The image ...

Just A Little About Me. Thursday, June 20, 2013. So I saw some thing the other day online and thought hey I could do that. So I started to take some of my nerf guns apart. And here is what I have ended up with. Here is them getting primed. Just a plastic primer. I kinda really like this color as a base coat. Here a little detail all hand painted. This is where I am. I will add more when I get it further along. That's it for one night. Finally finished. And it is functional. Labels: Steampunk Nerf Gun.

A Wool Stashers Tales
Thursday, 14 May 2015. Keeping the kittens warm. After making my Granny A Day Blanket, I still had some small oddments leftover with no idea of what to use it for. I was reluctant to just throw them away so I was thrilled to be able to use the to help our local RSPCA Shelter. At first I was thinking along the lines of blankets for the dogs, but the staff told me the kittens were desperate. So that made my mind up. Kitty blankets it is! Each blanket is crocheted using the granny stitch and is 20 rounds.
