Here, There and Everywhere. Friday, May 3, 2013. Plentiful poppies in fields of wheat. The same day.REALLY! The mountains and our family of animals and friends made Papingo a hard place to leave. A final ride and trip down to the river make for lasting moments to remember this lovely place. We look forward to a return trip one day. Until then, we leave with fond memories and would highly recommend a visit. A memento of our time with the goats,. Hopefully one of our own will wear it one day!

Here, There and Everywhere. Monday, September 23, 2013. A return to the Pacific Northwest. Back to the land of tall trees and lost coastlines. Where the fog rolls in like a thick blanket and settles in the valley making islands of the hill tops. The sun shines almost daily and the views are breathtaking. A great garden spot for creating the best soil and watching what grows. Hard to believe it's November and the chard, kale, beets and peppers still grow! A time of change. Gelato soaked with espresso.

Here, There and Everywhere. Saturday, April 27, 2013. The refuge hasn't opened yet this year, and there's still quite a bit of snow for late April, but we decided to make the hike anyways. The views were well worth it, and it was our first chance to be in the snow this winter! It took us about three hours to make the climb from Papingo with the last 45 minutes or so on snow. The climb up wasn't near as fun as the slippery slope down! It was a beautiful day, and we found good company at the top. :).
