In Amy's Eyes: Easter 2015

http://inamyseyes.blogspot.com/2015/04/easter-2015.html

Thursday, April 9, 2015. We had an amazing and busy Easter this year. First we had a picnic and egg hunt with my MOPS moms. Since we meet after bedtime, this was my first time meeting most of their kiddos. New friends! We also attended the Easter Egg Hunt at our church. We attended the same event last year. We didn't have enthusastic hunters this year. Alex is a bit too young and Colin figured out the eggs have things in them and wants to open them immediately! It was 1st Easter for both baby brothers!

In Amy's Eyes: My baby is One!

http://inamyseyes.blogspot.com/2015/06/my-baby-is-one.html

Wednesday, June 10, 2015. My baby is One! It is nearly impossible for me to believe that it's been a year since this little guy arrived! Alex has brought so much joy and adventure to our family. Alex's party wasn't until Saturday, so we spent Friday celebrating with family. We decided to set up for the party a day early to give Alex some time to play in his own personal amusement park for his birthday! The first gift Alex got on his birthday was from his big brother. Some quick notes on my Big Boy:.

http://inamyseyes.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html

Thursday, May 28, 2015. Alex is 11 months! Super late, but guess who's 11 months old! Okay, now SUPER super late. I'm so behind! But since he's ONE YEAR tomorrow time to post anyway! No measurements since his last doctor's appointment. 3 (but only because I have a TON of 3's left, he should probably be in 4s! I know you are supposed to wait until 12 months, but we've started whole milk and he's a huge fan. Alex took his first steps! I can't believe my baby is about to be a toddler. Too fast! Sunday, March 29, 2015. 10 month old Alex. No measurements since his last doctor's appointment. 9 months, some 6 months and some 12 months. Alex eats like crazy, especially lately. Colin has discovered that Alex will eat anything and tries to use him as a disposal service for foods Colin doens't want to eat. Still a great sleeper! Alex can stand by himself! He's done it a handful of times and it's only a matter of time before he's walking, I know. He also started clapping! Photographer , runner, painter,...

Wednesday, December 31, 2014. New Years Eve: Auld Lang Syne. This Christmas Eve is seems both appropriate and crazy to think of times long past. I'm overcome with the thought that 2030 is now as close to the present moment as 2000. 15 years later, and tonight I am again celebrating at home , but this year at my own home with my husband and my mom. I have two kid of my own sleeping happily upstairs. Monday, December 29, 2014. Alex is Seven Months! My itty bitty baby! Alex is doing great with solid food!

http://inamyseyes.blogspot.com/2015/03/ladera-spring-celebration.html

Sunday, March 29, 2015. In 2010, I rode my bike. Over to the Spring Celebration in Ladera by myself to check it out. I remember thinking, wow, there are a lot of kids. Today, we went back, with two kids of our own. It's crazy how time flies! They had a mini egg hunt for the little guys and both of our little people participated. It was crowded, but fun. Alex found his very first Easter Egg! I can't believe how big our boys are getting! We BBQ'd for dinner and spent a bit of time at the water table. I...

In Amy's Eyes: Colin's First Easter

http://inamyseyes.blogspot.com/2013/04/colins-first-easter.html

Monday, April 1, 2013. I have to say, holidays are a blast with a baby. Even though Colin is still too young to care about coloring eggs, or dressing up, or even Easter baskets, I love doing it with him anyway and I am so excited to watch him grow up with these traditions over the years. Mommy's favorite Easter photo. I love his reaction to his Easter basket which I totally caught on film:. Let me at it! There was also a very sweet Easter Bunny who stopped by Jax's house for Colin! My Favorite Blog Posts.

A Year of Cooking. Wednesday, March 17, 2010. Cream Cheese Coffee Cake. This week's cream cheese coffee cake created a huge mess of my kitchen and pushed the limits of my hand mixer skills, but that tasty swirl of lemon cream cheese floating in rich but airy coffee cake made it all worth it in the end. The cake turned out almost perfect. It looked amazing. It was ever so slightly overcooked. I tried to time giving my daughter a bath and putting her to bed while the cake baked, and it took a w...It was al...

a year of creation | a week-by-week update of something beautiful

A year of creation. A week-by-week update of something beautiful. 13 May 2010 by willIam. Yesterday evening I had an opportunity to observe a friend’s riding lesson at a local equestrian establishment. Though I had little to no idea what all their vocabulary meant, it was still a great chance to experience something new; and to see such beautiful creatures up close and in motion. And so I wrote a poem about the experience. Puffs of pink and rusty dust. Pop up and billow in the light. 6 May 2010 by willIam.

A year of curious living. Celebrating the small things that make our lives more joyful. 8220;The cure to boredom is curiosity. There is no cure for curiosity.”.
