Thursday, April 9, 2015. We had an amazing and busy Easter this year. First we had a picnic and egg hunt with my MOPS moms. Since we meet after bedtime, this was my first time meeting most of their kiddos. New friends! We also attended the Easter Egg Hunt at our church. We attended the same event last year. We didn't have enthusastic hunters this year. Alex is a bit too young and Colin figured out the eggs have things in them and wants to open them immediately! It was 1st Easter for both baby brothers!

Wednesday, June 10, 2015. My baby is One! It is nearly impossible for me to believe that it's been a year since this little guy arrived! Alex has brought so much joy and adventure to our family. Alex's party wasn't until Saturday, so we spent Friday celebrating with family. We decided to set up for the party a day early to give Alex some time to play in his own personal amusement park for his birthday! The first gift Alex got on his birthday was from his big brother. Sunday, March 29, 2015. 10 month old Alex. No measurements since his last doctor's appointment. 9 months, some 6 months and some 12 months. Alex eats like crazy, especially lately. Wednesday, December 31, 2014. New Years Eve: Auld Lang Syne. This Christmas Eve is seems both appropriate and crazy to think of times long past. I'm overcome with the thought that 2030 is now as close to the present moment as 2000. 15 years later, and tonight I am again celebrating at home , but this year at my own home with my husband and my mom. Sunday, March 29, 2015. In 2010, I rode my bike. Over to the Spring Celebration in Ladera by myself to check it out. I remember thinking, wow, there are a lot of kids. Today, we went back, with two kids of our own. It's crazy how time flies! They had a mini egg hunt for the little guys and both of our little people participated. It was crowded, but fun. Sunday, November 30, 2014. Colin's Birthday Celelbration Part 2! It's been a whirlwind week. Colin is 2! We celebrated Thanksgiving, had aventures at the beach, Palm Springs and around our house! I'll go in order I think. Colin's birthday was on Thanksgiving this year, so we had a house full of people to celebrate with us! Colin had so much with his family! He also got another borthday cake! While we will definiately need to watch the sugar for a while, it was so much fun to celebrate with everyone!

Monday, April 1, 2013. I have to say, holidays are a blast with a baby. Even though Colin is still too young to care about coloring eggs, or dressing up, or even Easter baskets, I love doing it with him anyway and I am so excited to watch him grow up with these traditions over the years.
