Splitting Skin 1998, acrylic on card, 40 x 34. From my end-of-the-millennium Apocalypse series. Swimmer and The Sea of Dreams is a curious, flawed work, I know, but I like it for some reason. Started in 2002 in acrylic, finished in 2003 in ink (lower part, mostly). The 6 images from The Black Paintings, a series of around 12 large-scale canvases, were painted 1999 - 2000. These are as yet unexhibited. The Duino Elegy series is incomplete (about half-done). Brooklyn studio circa 1999. 2002-3, 40 x 32.
