Not dead yet - Six Arm Studios
http://simplysithel.livejournal.com/183368.html
Artwork, accounts, and the occasional observation from Rebeccas life. Feb 4th, 2009 at 10:13 PM. You'd never know it from my presence on the Net, but I'm still not dead. Work consumes me entirely. The fist closed about my life at the start of December and wont release till the end of this month. Even if my time is not fully occupied by it, my thoughts can do nothing but circle it. The picture in here was done for a friend, based on the request: playing card, moon, cat, nature. Meh. I traced the c...But i...

Boobies for the win! (no, really) - Six Arm Studios
http://simplysithel.livejournal.com/182938.html
Artwork, accounts, and the occasional observation from Rebeccas life. Boobies for the win! Nov 22nd, 2008 at 1:56 AM. Failed to make it to the hay maze last weekend due to lingering illness, very sad. This did, however, allow me to attend a friend's house warming party, very fun. I however accidentally started drinking and wound up puking drunk before the morning arrived, very sad. Hangover lingered through all of Sunday, barely leaving me capable of bowling, very woozy. I'll never forgive you! She was v...

Rhetorical Wasteland: GT revampification & miscellaneous newspaper thoughts
http://rhetoricalwasteland.blogspot.com/2008/10/gt-revampification-miscellaneous.html
Really interesting, and at the same time, slightly depressing. Friday, October 3, 2008. GT revampification and miscellaneous newspaper thoughts. According to GT Publisher Mike McInally, the GT is undergoing several changes. First, on Friday, you will notice some major changes to the Entertainer: The weekly publication now will include a somewhat abbreviated version of the TV listings that used to appear in Sunday’s TV book. We will stop publishing the TV book that used to be part of Sunday’s paper. As an...

The Pinko Bitch Knits: March 2008
http://pinkoknits.blogspot.com/2008_03_01_archive.html
Friday, March 21, 2008. Overdone is In Vogue. I've had a lot to do, and not that much time for blogging, nor much good weather for taking photos (which is as well, because I'm inching through several sweaters, and progress of an inch or two a day really isn't worth recording). But we got the Spring issue of Vogue Knitting. In at the shop earlier this week, and I feel the need to publicly announce, for the record, that I don't understand it. Where should I start expressing my distaste? It's good to have a...

The Pinko Bitch Knits: November 2008
http://pinkoknits.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 23, 2008. It's been awhile, hasn't it? It's not that I haven't been knitting; it's that I've been knitting sweaters and want pictures of them being modeled on someone, and my friends all are a)too tall to fit my knits and b)bad at photography. This leaves me to my own terrible devices until I decide to knit something quick and simple. Source: Knitting New Scarves (free pattern from book). Yarn: Noro Silk Garden Chunky, color 4, 3 skeins. Needles: 10.5 US. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Rhetorical Wasteland: [Hering] It's just.... good
http://rhetoricalwasteland.blogspot.com/2008/10/hering-its-just-good.html
Really interesting, and at the same time, slightly depressing. Friday, October 3, 2008. Hering] It's just. good. The only quibble I have with this editorial. Of Hering's is that he fails to mention the obvious reason Sizemore got this measure on the ballot: It would deprive the state of money. Specifically, of $4-8 million per year. According to the state Elections Division. But the writing is decent, and Hering actually uses logic and evidence, for once. It's like a real editorial! A Quote I LIke.
