Sunday, December 1, 2013. We'll start at the end of September, when we went to the Maryland/DC area to visit friends and family. We spent a few days out at the beach, but Rose wanted to spend most of her time there on the playground. Papa came out for a fall photo shoot at the French Creek Metroparks here in Sheffield. Saturday, January 4, 2014. Jacob came into our lives at 10:16 PM on Monday, December 30, 2013. At birth, he was 8 pounds, 9 ounces, and 19 inches long. All are doing well. All four grandparents came to visit in the hospital. Yay, time to go home! The welcoming committee (Rose, Mamaw, and Papa) had a message for Jacob on his return. Our new family of four. Friday, July 31, 2015. Jacob is running everywhere, and has started to master the stairs. perhaps a little too well. He's working on a few words: yeah, uh oh, uh huh, bear, bath, Ro, up, tickle tickle tickle, boom, beeeee bzzzz, owl. And, as you'll see below, he had his first haircut from Pete at Dom and Luigi's. Sunday, March 4, 2012. Four Month Pictures (plus a few with Grandpa K). Grandma and Grandpa K visited last week. Grandpa K got to hold Rose first, and passed her off to Grandma just as she (Rose, not Grandma! Started getting fussy. So we ended up with pictures of one grandparent but not the other. Rose has rolled over a few more times, mostly at her nursing support group, where there's always lots to look at. Rose's legs look like they're ready to crawl; now her arms just need to catch up. Saturday, April 11, 2015. A lot has happened in the last three months. But before the pictures, the words. Rose is signed up for a preschool this fall, but if she had her way I think she'd want to start today. She loves to "read" books from memory, but more recently she's been more and more interested in the letters, words, and punctuation on the page. ("That's a question mark! What's your question.") She loves playing with kids her age. And. she's now fully potty trained! When playing with bubbles.
