Baby Ethiopia 2006: Over the River & Through the Woods

We just adopted our first child from Ethiopia. Wednesday, August 23, 2006. Over the River and Through the Woods. To the grandparent's home we went, and it took 11.5 hours! Pre-Mr. Handsome we could do the trip in 7.5 hours but we stopped 3 times before we left New Jersey. I think we may have reached double digits before we finally reached our destination. All in all we had a great time, Mr. Handsome's popularity is somewhere in the stratasphere and we will be flying next time. Posted by Dawn @ 3:25 PM.

We just adopted our first child from Ethiopia. Wednesday, May 31, 2006. Despite spending way too much time on the computer today (What else is new? I have started working on my second knitting project. Working without a pattern (uh-oh! Well, I had a bit of a run-in with a pair of his sweatpants that I attempted to hem and well let's just say they were slightly irregular to begin with so the legs were slightly uneven and then the dryer caused them to shrink a little and now they resemble capri pants!

We just adopted our first child from Ethiopia. Sunday, September 03, 2006. We just had a wonderful visit with another family that traveled to Ethiopia in the same group we did. Our sons are close to the same age, from the same region of the country and they arrived at Horizon House at the same time. All of the children had a great time, and the parents enjoyed reminiscing about our Ethiopian experience. Who are waiting for their referral. Posted by Dawn @ 3:42 PM. Sunday, January 3, 2010. Monday, February 16, 2009. We have been home now for a little over a month. Brecken is growing by leaps and bounds.she gained over two pounds this month and about 2-3 inches in height. Her little ears have healed nicely. We also found a tiny little pearly white tooth starting to poke its way through. She is such a happy girl! We are doing good and enjoying our two daughters. I also wanted to invite you over to our family blog here. This is where I will be posting most often now.
