Wow, this sure has been an experience. I would say that we have learned some lessons, mostly the hard way. House building is every bit as hard as everyone warns you about, plus more. Would we do it again? Probably not right now, but I do feel like we have learned enough through this experience that the second time wouldn't be quite as bad. Hope to see you all soon. Wednesday, December 31, 2008. My Baby is One! Preston's first birthday was a success, though he had no idea what was going on! We had the whole family over since everyone was still in town from Christmas- one advantage to being born on December 27th! He has perfected walking, and looks like running isn't far behind. He loves to give kisses, clap his hands and point at things. Happy Birthday Presto! And I have no idea why some of the photos are so small- I'll try and fix those later. It's Been A While.

Thursday, March 13, 2008. I Believe. words to live by. I believe that our background and circumstances may have influenced who we are, but we are responsible for whom we become. I believe that no matter how good a friend is, they're going to hurt you every once in awhile and you must forgive them for that. I believe that just because someone doesn't love you the way you want them to doesn't mean they don't love you with all they have. I believe that you can keep going, long after you think you can't.
