Thursday, February 24, 2011. 12 weeks along - Happy birthday to me! Today I am 12 weeks along, so only 1 week more until the first trimester is officially over. But I feel really confident that Bean is just fine. The only thing I'm waiting for is for the nausea to completely go away, and it seems to be subsiding this week. Monday, January 31, 2011. Bean's First Pictures and Heartbeat. Bean's heartbeat was perfectly strong and she/he measured 7 weeks and 6 days, which is 1 day off from how far along I am based on the first day of my last period. Saturday, July 30, 2011. Last weekend was my first baby shower and it was super fun. I got to see a bunch of family and friends that I don't typically get to see, so that was really nice. They all got me so many wonderful things for Brooke, which I am so appreciative about! I guess we need to have some discussions ;). We were definitely concerned because they were so close together, even though they weren't painful, because I know some women have really easy contractions that still cause them to dilate.

Thursday, August 25, 2011. Today I am 38 weeks! I can't believe I'm finally at this point. This is the week at which I wanted to get before Brooke came out, so now she is really welcome to come :) I know I'm scheduled for an induction next Thursday but I really want her to come out on her own. Of course, it's not up to me, so we will just have to wait and see. The past couple of days Brooke has been SUPER active! Most recent bump picture:.
