http://kaolinmommy.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Kaolin" is clay- common, earthy, imperfect, and hopefully useful. Saturday, January 29, 2011. Tall, tall tower. Since it was another unseasonably lovely day, we decided to take Nana and Papa to the battlefields. The girls have been stir-crazy and completely bugging the crud out of each other. So we were also looking for an opportunity to wear them out. Big Sister was super excited about climbing up in the "tall tall tower." We even took some homemade helicopters to drop from the top. Check out that hair!

Kaolin" is clay- common, earthy, imperfect, and hopefully useful. Wednesday, September 29, 2010. Tonight, the girls and I stayed home from church because Big Sis has had some tummy trouble and missed school today. She was feeling much better this evening, though, so we ventured outside into the glorious fall weather. As we walked through our yard, I didn't even have to remind the girls to watch where they stepped. Little Sister did it for me; "Watch out for dog poop! Labels: Wisdom from Wee Ones. Up from...

My kiddos who can't wait to be "big enough for " (fill in the blank with developmental milestone of your choice). The other mommas like me eager to move beyond "this stage"- whatever the current challenge might be, but also wishing they could keep their little ones little. The co-worker anxious to find a full-time job and "start life".

Kaolin" is clay- common, earthy, imperfect, and hopefully useful. Tuesday, October 15, 2013. This past weekend, we spend some time at Old McDonald's Farm. And that is really what it's called. And it was so much fun! It was a little warm for Fall, but as the evening settled in it over the mountains, it was perfect. There were animals to see and pet- including my favorite, baby cows! We rode a hayride to a real pumpkin patch where they were just snipped from the vine and left for us to choose. I am a mommy...

Kaolin" is clay- common, earthy, imperfect, and hopefully useful. Wednesday, October 9, 2013. Been a long time. So, it has been 2 and a half YEARS since I've blogged. I used to make posts like "wow, I've not been on here in a while" when I missed a few months. But years? But you know what I do have an idea about? She meant to offer encouragement. What really happened, though, was that she piled on more pressure. Pressure to savor. Guilt for wanting to just. get. through. And there is sadness, and a littl...

Cooking much of anything more than hot dogs, lean cuisines or toast. Yoga (I think my "down dog" got up and wandered off). Loving my homemade dish detergent (that bobo stuff stopped working about two weeks after this post. Hitting snooze...
