June 12, 2015. Today we went back to visit the place and some of the people that forever changed our lives almost 4 months ago. Talk about being nostalgic. 8221; and came 3 days before the planned day. Typical Annalise. Walking into the birthing center, all the memories and emotions flooded in…. the anxiousness, the fear of the unknown, the worry, the excitement, all the overwhelming feelings, and the happiness of finally meeting our daughter AND being able to take her home. That was our room! Oh boy....

May 20, 2015. How do you survive your day knowing that at any given second something could go wrong and that child could pass? Let me tell you. It’s not always easy. It is definitely very, very hard at times. I’m not going to lie to you and say that everyday is really good and that I’m always so happy. Because let’s be honest… When I’m sitting at home alone with my baby girl while daddy is at work/school… Emotions take over. Why can I not just cast those fears onto the Lord and let Him be in control?
