The tree is Hornbeam (Carpinus betulus). It has good nebari almost symmetrical growing towards to all directions. It was reduced on spot during summer 2008. I brought it home in spring 2009. All top shoots were removed and wires too. Tree was partially defoliated, even if from the pictures it is maybe not so visible but amount of removed foliage was quite significant. Shoots on bottom of the tree were remained intact, it will help to thicken them. Overgrown and ready for work. And for comparison after wiring session in April 2015.
