Lemon Tartlet And The Dust Bunnies. A tartlet’s adventures in the kitchen, dodging an overenthusiastic kitten, an overly tall man who thinks he’s funny, and the ever present dust bunnies. Somehow, the food gets cooked. YWPWT : A National Treasure. October 8, 2008 in pie. Y’all, consider this my official declaration of my love for pies. DIY {doily canvas bag} » ashleyannphotography.com

Family. Travel. DIY. Advocacy. Capturing the Everyday. DIY {doily canvas bag}. Canvas bag ($2.00 when on sale at Hobby Lobby), fabric paint, paper doily, Krylon Paper Finishes Adhesive Spray. Spray doily with paper spray adhesive and press down on the bag (not shown). (Using Krylon Paper Finishes adhesive allows the doily to stick in place while you paint, but it easily pulls off without leaving a sticky mess behind after you paint.). Bag after doily is removed. I also ironed over it to heat set it a bit.

Tuesday, November 9, 2010. Not Just For Thanksgiving Cranberry Shortbread Cake. All I need is some vanilla ice cream to create a perfect harmony. I'm hoping that the cake will remain intact and not get soggy by tomorrow so that I can enjoy it with the ice cream. Something tells me that either way it will still be yummy! This was a wonderful in treat Pre-Thanksgiving! Thanks to Jessica, A Singleton in the Kitchen. For this timely selection. Tuesday, November 2, 2010. Thanks to Nicole of Bakeologie.
