The House of Bakers: April 2012
http://colin-farfaraway.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
The House of Bakers. By Colin and Mary. Monday, April 9, 2012. Then on Friday, he started putting up the stone. It was a beautiful site to come home to. After: (This is after it was clean. During the fact, there was dust everywhere). The second conundrum was figuring out how we could fit stone around this post (pictured below). There were talks about putting a strap around the beam and removing the post. Maybe bolting a 2x4 to the wall for the beam to support the beam? The post on the end:. The end of th...

The House of Bakers. By Colin and Mary. Tuesday, July 26, 2011. Guest Room #1 Finished! We always manage to do this to ourselves! New Closet. We plan on getting sliding doors to close it off. New pretty ceiling fan.it has all five legs! Destruction of Guest Room #1. When we first got the house back in August 2009, it was disgusting! We went to town pulling up carpet, tile, etc. just to make it livable. One of the 'must go' items in this room was the popcorn ceiling. Who knows. We couldn't figure it out.

http://colin-farfaraway.blogspot.com/2012/10/the-front-yard09302012.html
The House of Bakers. By Colin and Mary. Monday, October 1, 2012. The Front Yard.09.30.2012. For the last couple of weekends Colin and I have been working on the front yard. The weather is no longer blistering. It's only about 98 degrees. Here is an older picture of the front patch of concrete. This is what happens when Colin gets home earlier on a Friday. The plan is to put down pavers as a walkway beside the driveway. We marked the layout with orange tape and flags. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

http://annacancook.blogspot.com/2011/05/potstickers.html
Wednesday, May 25, 2011. Little pockets of delicious goodness. That's what these potstickers are! They are shockingly easy to make. The Sweet Touch: May 2011
http://thesweettouch.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
Tuesday, May 31, 2011. Sorry for the delay in posting this recipe. Once the weekend got started, I ditched the computer until last night. Last week I wrote about Bobby Flay's Toasted Marshmallow Milkshakes. From his book Bobby Flay's Burgers, Fries and Shakes. You can make these burgers with a simple crumble of blue cheese on top, or you can do what I did and kick it up a notch with Bobby's blue cheese sauce. And if you have any sauce leftover, go ahead and use it as a dipping sauce for some kettle c...
