Like many others I too had a strong aversion towards pets until I met a stray cat at my door step on a rainy day, may sound melodramatic but the very instant I saw the kitty a sense of compassion crept in me, very soon it became my faithful pal. Pets are into the family they become the integral part of life. Gone are the days when your dogs ate leftovers and cats lay on door mat. Nowadays people take immense care in bringing up their pet just as they do for their own child.
