BALLINTOY ARCHAEOLOGICAL AND HISTORICAL SOCIETY. Ballintoy is situated on the north coast of County Antrim in Northern Ireland, some 7 miles east of Bushmills and the Giant’s Causeway, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and 6 miles west of Ballycastle. It is bounded to the north by the Atlantic Ocean, and the west coast of Scotland is only a short boat trip away.
