BALLYHOO photography: December 2008
http://ballyhoophotography.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Commercial and event photography by Ken Gill. Wednesday, December 3, 2008. Strobists meet at the Ballyhoo studio in Portland. One of the photographers, Scooter, is a student, aspiring photographer, and quite a sport. Another photographer and I dragged Scooter and two of the models into the non-functioning elevator in my building for a shoot. It was a struggle to get started, as the space was so tight and the widest lens I had was my 24-70 canon lens. Nice and wide, huh? Links to this post.
BALLYHOO photography: Another Cascade Corporation photo
http://ballyhoophotography.blogspot.com/2009/01/another-cascade-corporation-photo.html
Commercial and event photography by Ken Gill. Wednesday, January 7, 2009. Another Cascade Corporation photo. Here is a before and after image of worm gears that are manufactured by Cascade Corporation. I never really thought about how worm gears and sprockets were made. I don't just geek out about camera equipment. I love metal work and I felt like making Tim Taylor grunts the whole time I was in the warehouse. All of the cutting, welding, and grinding going on was pretty cool to see. Photo of the day.
BALLYHOO photography: Walking around photos
http://ballyhoophotography.blogspot.com/2009/01/walking-around-photos.html
Commercial and event photography by Ken Gill. Monday, January 12, 2009. Back to Vegas. One of the nights in Vegas, we walked from Mandalay Bay to the north. We saw an "in and out burger" that we were really hungry for. I haven't had one of their burgers for 4 or 5 years - the last time I went to SoCal. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). BALLYHOO photography home page. Clean up, clean up, everybody cleanup. Ah, cooking. One of my favorite things. I love v. Another Cascade Corporation photo.

Commercial and event photography by Ken Gill. Wednesday, April 23, 2008. Guess what's coming back into season! Here in Sandy,. Turn your clocks back 20 years to find it. Just a little outside Portland,we have still been getting snow for the last few weeks as we are at 1,00. 0 feet. We had a beautiful weekend a few weeks ago, but I don't remember when that was. Anyway, here we are past the middle of. April and it doesn't seem like Summer will ever arrive. I can buy the strawberries because. What else coul...

Batteries Not Included: July 2008
http://road417king.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html
Wednesday, July 23, 2008. Staring Into The Heart of Darkness. I was talking with a lady today about various things and the conversation drifted along to where we broached the subject of life changing events. The way she put it went something like this: "People don't fundamentally change until they've truly stared into the heart of darkness." Now that's seriously paraphrased but that's basically what it boils down to, staring into the heart of darkness. Of No Consequence :). Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
Batteries Not Included: Why haven't I posted????
http://road417king.blogspot.com/2008/03/why-havent-i-posted.html
Tuesday, March 25, 2008. Why haven't I posted? Hey, post number two in an underwhelmingly. Small amount of posts. Nice, eh? Yeah, I figure you all don't want to read the dreck. That lives in my mind (to be honest, some of it scares *me*) but that's okay, you're here, you're reading, I'm typing, the cycle goes on, right? Immediately becomes part of your history, regardless of how old you were when you posted it. It's like when a politician. Even if you never made that mistake ever again in your life.
Batteries Not Included: April 2008

Tuesday, April 8, 2008. Did you know that 75 to 80 percent of the residents of the United States of America believe that we live in a democracy? Really, they do. And they're stunned to find out that they don't. I love this part because it shows them how much they really do still have to learn about things that they've taken for granted for so long. I tell them that the answer lies in a simple pledge they all learned as a child (well, the ones that were born and raise here anyway). Well, that's because yo...

Batteries Not Included: April fools!
http://road417king.blogspot.com/2008/04/april-fools.html
Wednesday, April 2, 2008. You're going to love this. I had a really nice blog about single malt scotch all type up and I was going to change the font of the blog so I selected all the text in the edit box. Then I clicked the Font drop down and somehow all the selected text got deleted and then WHAM, autosave immediately auto saved a big box of nothing. So I guess the joke's on me. Anyway, hope your April Fools was a better one than mine. Bye! Of No Consequence :). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
Batteries Not Included: Tag, you're it!
http://road417king.blogspot.com/2008/03/tag-youre-it.html
Saturday, March 1, 2008. Tag, you're it! I had to create an account and a blog page simply to post a comment on my friend's blog. Isn't that silly? Guess that makes me "it" in Google's eyes. Ah well, such is life. Good thing I laid in a good supply of batteries, eh? Looks like we can put pictures into these things too, so I'm going to try. Here goes! Wow, it worked! Okay, so what's the picture you might ask? If you want to check it out. Of No Consequence :). Happy St. Pat's day. March 17, 2008 at 5:42 PM.
