Thursday, August 11, 2011. Washington - Our New Home. We have had fun getting settled in our new home. The weather has been beautiful! We do not miss the humidity or the mosquitoes. We have enjoyed exploring the area parks and hikes and the boys love the pool! After a very long road trip, we were so grateful to finally make it to Utah! Monday, August 27, 2012. We blessed the babies at my parents house while we were in Salt Lake. Edith was blessed in my blessing dress with a quilt made for my Dad by his great-grandmother Edith when he was born and Whitman was blessed in an outfit procured that same day and a blanket knitted for him by Grandma Owen. Friday, September 21, 2012. In August we drove to the Oregon Coast. It was beautiful and we enjoyed spending some time together as a family. Before we got to the coast, we stopped off in a small town in Oregon along the Columbia River Gorge and saw some amazing waterfalls. Enjoying a little hot chocolate. Whenever Jade sees a stream, he must cross it. And of course the boys always follow him. Eating ice cream cones from a great little drive-in restaurant. And warmed up in the hot tub.

Tuesday, August 10, 2010. Our Trip Out West. Our 28 hour drive to Utah was quite a trek but we had some fun along the way and it was well worth it to see family and be there for Danny and Amanda's wedding. We made a stop in Wyoming at Martin's Cove and Devil's Pass. The boys loved pulling the handcart! This was our view of Mount Rushmore when we first got there. It was cold and rainy. But luckily the clouds moved and we were able to get a lot better view. It was so good to see the mountains!

Monday, July 16, 2012. 30 things about Jackson for his 30th birthday. 1 He can sleep like the living dead. It takes nothing smaller than a freight train to wake this guy up. 2 Speaking of sleep, he regularly has nightmares that a baby is bring suffocated in the bed, on the laundry pile and/or hanging from the ceiling fan. 3 This guy loves his babies and they love him. Next to the ceiling fan they give him more smiles than anything else. 11 He has become a big reader. 12 He had a pager in high school.

Sunday, December 7, 2008. Our beautiful baby boy was blessed on Saturday, Dec. 6th in our home. Nathan is such a joy and a blessing to our family. It was such a special day! We are grateful to have Jade's parents visiting with us for a week. Rory(Jade's brother) and Wendy drove up from Ohio to be with us despite the big snow storm. We were also able to include Grandma and Grandpa Owen, and Jordan and Camilla through the webcam. We bought a piano! And we love it! We had a fun Thanksgiving!
