Moments in Time: September 2012
http://batty-reflections.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
Wednesday, September 26, 2012. Very few things beat discovering a handful of forgotten dollar bills in the pocket of an an old pair of jeans. Automatic junk food dispenser - here I come! Saturday, September 1, 2012. Recently, I found out that there were services/companies/websites (whatever you want to call them) out there that are hard to believe. For example:. Beeminder - a goal setting website which will charge you money if you don't meet your goals/fall behind. I'll add to the list as I find more.

Monday, May 27, 2013. The importance of being a potato. Am finding myself learning a bit about the Earth's gravity model these days. One fun simulation on the web: http:/ www.hydrometronics.com/images/turn7-large.gif. I'm pretty sure there's a potato out there that EXACTLY represents the shape and/or gravity of the Earth. A claim no human being can make. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Tales of the Wandering Travel Junkie. A Whiff of Europe. The Great Indian Soap Opera Plot Generator.

Moments in Time: Sea of Poppies
http://batty-reflections.blogspot.com/2014/05/sea-of-poppies.html
Sunday, May 18, 2014. I finally finished reading Amitav Ghosh's 'Sea of Poppies' - a thick, impressive looking book that had been sitting on my bookshelf for a while now, gifted to me by my parents a couple of years ago. It took me 2 years to start reading the book, and a good 10 months to finish it. Part of the fault was mine - I'm learning how to read again. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Tuesday, May 27, 2014. The 'C' food diet. Since health has been rediscovered as the new wealth (although eating healthy seems to be primarily reserved for people wealthy enough to afford the expensive organic ingredients), I keep hearing about all kinds of diets - low fat, high protein, paleo, stone age, neanderthal etc etc. I've decided it was time I formally announced my own favorite. Introducing, the 'C' food diet. Allowed foods include:. This is most effective when shared with people verbally. Jaisal...

Moments in Time: November 2011
http://batty-reflections.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Thursday, November 3, 2011. Midterm minus 2 hours. My heart (or something. In the thoracic cavity) feels like it is trying to compete with the expanding universe. Or what the universe must've felt like the few minutes before the Big Bang. If that happens, my examination answer sheet will be a gory mess. The janitors at work will not be happy. Moments in Time: Procrastination - Part N OR the Prodigal Blogger Returns
http://batty-reflections.blogspot.com/2015/04/procrastination-part-n.html
Friday, April 10, 2015. Procrastination - Part N OR the Prodigal Blogger Returns. Things I've done today in lieu of homework:. 3 loads of laundry. Groceries (a few days early). Made my bed (on a Friday, even though I'm expecting 0 guests! Mailed long overdue things. Fulfilled my annual average posts on facebook. Wished my sibling happy sibling day. Dropped off my old checkbooks (from the beginning of time) at the bank so they could shred them. Oh look - and I posted something on my long forgotten blog!

Girl Talk: December 2012
http://talklikeagirl.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
Dec 15, 2012. Years of Blogging to Grow Up. Officially I am on vacation. Which means I have time to think. Which also means I think way too much about way too many, almost inconsequential things. Which results in this crazy need to blog way more than I have in 2 years. Pheww. wow. So here it goes. not making any particular sense as usual. To which she said, "Because that's what you always did.". I really did do that. For so long. Almost non-stop for 2 years. And then I stopped. What does that mean? You k...

Girl Talk: February 2011
http://talklikeagirl.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Feb 14, 2011. Do not even read this. So I have this "something is missing" feeling a lot these days. It is not suppose to be like that, but for some reason it is like that. I think I would like my blame my idiot BFF who decided to move half way across the globe, soon after which events took place which changed a lot around. What am I even saying, someone needs to proof read this thing for me). Changing the topic entirely, I can't believe I am so feeling-less that I can't come up with a half decent expres...

Girl Talk: July 2011
http://talklikeagirl.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
Jul 25, 2011. Loving Indian Cinema (90's). It's funny how I smile at songs that came out some 15-20 years ago now. I grew up watching numerous hard core bollywood movies, and I guess then I didn't know how much I will cherish those million memories associated with each song. Sigh I miss being a kid. But one of the songs that never leaves me is:. Weird I knwo. Cheesy cheesy me. Remember Hum Aapke Hain Kaun? I have seen it 200 times and probably still can. It just never leaves me. I have some free time aft...
