Barn-Hayloft / Studio Conversion. In order to minimize costs, plumbing was designed to be only on the east side of the building. Also a grinder/pump was installed to connect the waste system in the barn to the waste system in the main house.Copper pipe was used for all supply and PVC was used for waste. In the process of placing the ridge beam onto the second floor, the cupola. Was temporarily removed. The crane which was used to place the ridge. Beam was used to lower the cupola to the ground where it was examined for. Problems. It was then determined that the interior structure of the cupola. Should be attached directly to the roof with the copper peaked roof secured. Later Windows were be added where the vents were and the cupola has ended. Up much sturdier than before the renovation began.
