A liberal-minded, yet grossly intolerant Mormon blog: we tolerate dissent, but not stupidity. Thursday, November 04, 2004. Politics and Moral Values. The election is over, my man didn’t win. I liked John Kerry and I was ready to give him a shot for four years to see what he’d offer us. But, unlike some liberals, I’m not announcing my plans to move to Canada. Life of Owen: The Long Walk
http://lifeofowen.blogspot.com/2011/12/long-walk.html

Thursday, 12 July 2012. Sunny Saturday morning, and where am I? At home, at my desk, working on an assignment (two more weeks! And doing laundry. I need something to motivate me. A session on a patio with the papers and a big, frothy, frosty pint of Stella might spur me on, and bloating be damned. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Check out my friends. Over the last year or so, I decided to read some of the great 'masterworks' of literature in their entirety, instead of just the snippets from the Norton anthologies. Sumer also joined along, reading books alongside. As a result, we've now read. The complete Sherlock Holmes,. A Passage to India. A Tale of Two Cities. Portrait of a Lady. And a couple of others.
