Illinois - Effingahm part 2 Route 66. The " Mother Road. Has also been known as the Will Rogers Highway. And Main Street of America. We had a blast finding all the old signs and sites. In Farmersville, IL. We found the Art's Motel Sign. Next stop was Litchfield, IL,. It is celebrating it's 66th year on Route 66.

Wow I've got to say, I just started re-listening to Dana Wilde's Train Your Brain. Audios again this week, and they are as inspiring every time I review them. I'm feeling really thankful and positive. It's also helping me go through a lot of stuff in the storage area of the basement and get it OUT! The kids are gonna have a blast. And hubby has the luxury of telecommuting on Monday so we don't have to ride home in crazy traffic Sunday night. And yes, its finally in the 80s here in Michigan! I bet its fun...

So when we went to Fontana Resort in North Carolina a couple weeks ago, I gave away what used to be my favorite hat. My daughter was very upset with me, but I couldn't explain the whole story in a way that she would fully appreciate it at this time. I typically still wore the hat when I went out in the sun. Too much sun usually gives me a headache, and I definitely don't want it on my face. So I had it on at the pool with the kids when we were staying with some friends at Fontana Village. I should have realized what an integral part of my brain music is when I was always fighting with the kids over the sound system we have in the family room. The kids wanted to keep watching shows, but I just wanted to put on Pandora so I can hear some music as I move around the house doing the things I need to get done each day.
