What are Biosolids?
http://barwonwater.plenaryprojects.com/about-the-project/what-are-biosolids.html
How the Facility Works. Barwon Water and Biosolids. How the Facility Works. Barwon Water and Biosolids. When sewage is treated, micro-organisms digest the sewage, breaking down the organic material. Two products are created; recycled water and biosolids. Each week, seven kilograms of biosolids are created as each household’s sewage is broken down at Barwon Water treatment plants. That is enough biosolids to fill Geelong’s Simonds Stadium to a depth of one metre every year (54,000 tonnes).

http://barwonwater.plenaryprojects.com/project-information.html
How the Facility Works. Barwon Water and Biosolids. The biosolids drying facility uses proven technology that is safe, reliable, efficient, and capable of delivering a consistent T1 grade of pelletised, dried biosolids; the highest treatment grade of biosolids possible. Deliveries from Barwon Water’s other water reclamation plants are received within the facility and blended with the material received from Black Rock Water Reclamation Plant and processed by the facility. Maximum quantity of biosolids.
