The Sports Blog Critics. We're far too lazy to post our own opinions; we'd rather rip on yours. Thursday, June 16. Right now, Joe Morgan is my favorite announcer. He's the best player ever to man second base, so he knows better then anyone about how the game should be played. My favorite offensive statistic is the RBI, because driving in runs is what wins ball games. And my favorite pitching statistic is the Win, because that's how pitchers should be judged. Whether they win a game or not.
